High protein can also raise insulin so you are correct about too much protein not to mention all meat is not the same. Processed meat and meat with GMOs hormones added and steroids are all a problem. Carbs are cancer fuel. Need a healthy balance but that balance should be much lower in carbs than has been pushed for the last 30 years. I have been on a keto diet for the last couple months.
